Life of DeShawn

Deshawn Walker was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 15, 2000 to Sybil Walker and Don Henderson, whom both preceded him in death.

Deshawn confessed Christ as his personal Savior and what baptized into the Christian faith on May 4, 2014, uniting with Broadview Baptist Missionary Church under the leaders of Retired Pastor, Marvin G. Parker. Deshawn excelled in all sports, especially in football and wrestling. He successfully participated in many championships games and competitions. Deshawn’s warm and contagious energy touched the hearts of everyone that he came into contact with.

Deshawn graduated from Bolingbrook High School and where meet and made many life long friendships.

DeShawn successfully worked many after school jobs starting at Portillo and ending at John Deere, further pursuit of becoming an young man. Deshawn continued his success by accepting a football scholarship to Dubuque University where he would major in Fire Science. On May 10th Deshawn closed his eyes in eternal rest. Leaving to share his memory are: Grandparents Alfred Dismukes and Patricia Henderson-Mobley. Siblings: Destiny, Jaylin, London, Rodney, Paris, Kimbella, Rakim. And a large host of relatives and friends.
